Since august 2008, started a territorial expansion in 4 new regions of the “Youth Employment Promotion” project financed by Unidea UniCredit Foundation. By the end of year 2008, the project will be carried out in Shumen, Targovishte, Razgrad, Vraca, Montana and Vidin. The target group of the project is young men aged up to 35 years. The project grants credits with advantageous conditions to people starting their own business after they have participated in the training “Start Your Business”; providing vocational training to people willing to acquire professional qualification; consultation for development of appropriate and feasible business plan; assistance for registration of the company; assistance for correct utilization of loans for starting business; forthcoming access to financial leasing for purchase of equipment and machines (optional); on-going assistance after the receiving the financing and after the establishment of the enterprise: support for the operations of the enterprise; for the establishment of contacts with local, national and international partners, identification of suppliers and subcontractors, personnel recruitment, training, marketing and promotion, establishment of contacts with local authorities, agencies and financial institutions.

The project “Youth Employment Promotion” which implements a pilot programme for support of the entrepreneurship of young people in economically depressed regions in Bulgaria – the district of Razgrad for the North-East Bulgaria and the district of Vratsa for North-West Bulgaria, financed by Unidea UniCredit Foundation.
The project is being implemented by the National Business Development Network (NBDN) and at local level by its members - for the district of Razgrad is Business Center Kubrat (Business center Isperih has an auxiliary role) and for the district of Vratsa is Business center Byala Slatina (Business center Montana has the auxiliary role)

The young people from both districts at the age up to 35 who want to start their own business were given the opportunity to be involved in training for building of entrepreneurial skills or in training for acquisition of professional qualification.

36 young people from both districts were trained in Start Your Business /two modules: «Create your business idea» and «Start Your Business»/ using the methodology of the International Labor Organization. The successfully graduated were given the opportunity to participate in the next stage of the project: development of business plan and its assessment, which allowed them to receive credit with advantageous conditions within the project. On the territory of both districts were delivered altogether 124 informational and consultancy services to individuals who had developed business plans.
Altogether 40 people acquired professional qualification in courses in the specialties chosen by them and 15 from them were employed.
