On 29.10.2025, the National Business Development Network held in Gotse Delchev the second CAREdiZO workshop from the series of events for equal sharing of care. The specific topic was "Adapting workplaces to the needs of employees with care responsibilities".
Within the framework of the event, we continued our work with businesses, civil society organizations, institutions and experts engaged in social activities, labor relations and community support in order to raise awareness of the needs for adapting the work environment and opportunities for implementation.
The workshop was dedicated also to the results of Caredizo's research, through which we have prepared a collection of examples of balanced care distribution in families and measures to support care in the workplace, as well as public attitude and understanding.
Inspired by the presented real models and good practices, the participants proposed and jointly developed ideas for supporting measures for employees balancing their work with caring for children, elderly parents, sick family members, etc. The training event concluded with a planning and pitch session to express a proposal for specific supportive measures in the workplace, supported by a key message and poster.
We hope to implement these inclusive and sustainable policies for the benefit of both workers, small businesses and organizations, and society as a whole.
